Men's DV Support

About this site

This site exists because the resources that exist for domestic violence survivors are overwhelmingly written for women. Men who are being abused — physically, emotionally, financially, or sexually — frequently find they have nowhere to turn that takes their experience seriously.

We do not minimize or dismiss what you are going through. Abuse happens to men. It is not weakness. It is not embarrassing. And it is not your fault.

This site is a directory of hotlines and resources that accept and support male survivors. We do not operate any of the hotlines listed, and we are not a crisis service ourselves. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

How resources get listed

Every resource is reviewed by a site contributor before it is listed. We check that the organization exists, accepts male clients, and provides the service described. We note the last-verified date on each card.

If you know of a resource that should be here, or if a listed resource has moved or closed, please reach out. Use the contact link below.
